The mini school bus was hit by at least three bullets – with one that hit the rear window and two the side piercing.
The driver, who gave priority to the safety of the students, continued to drive about half a mile before he stopped.
According to an eyewitness, the bus matron described two groups that exchanged gunfire, which would protect two students on the floor.
The vehicle then wore around six students.
Fortunately, nobody was injured on board.
The police reported that four suspects, all dressed in black, were involved in the shooting near a playground and a school, which was locked for about 30 minutes after discharge.
The suspects fled on foot to the south on Trinity Avenue, with one described as wearing black pants with white stripes.
