The chiefs of Kansas City have signed free-agent cornerback Robert Rochell for a one-year-old deal.
On Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Rochell reached an agreement with Kansas City after having spent last season with the Green Bay Packers. The value of his deal was not announced.
Rochell's career started well after being selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the NFL design of 2021. The Central Arkansas product appeared in 11 games and started in five.
Unfortunately he was late in his Rookie campaign in an injured reserve. Since his first year, Rochell has failed to find the defense in his foot and was released by the Rams in their last schedule in 2023.
After Los Angeles, Rochell bounced between practice plads in Seattle and Carolina before signing with Green Bay. He was a swinger between the Packers Practice Squad and Active Roster for the past one and a half season.
Despite playing only one defensive Snap for the past two seasons, Rochell's contribution to the special teams kept him in the radars of teams. In 11 games for Green Bay, he was part of 121 Snaps in special teams.

Earlier this year, Rochell took legal steps against the people he says they are responsible for a car accident from 2023 that caused him serious injury and insulted his career.
In a lawsuit, brought in in Los Angeles County, which was obtained by TMZ Sports, the 26-year-old said that he drove past the Hollywood-Valweg in his $ 100k Mercedes GT 63 AMG in February 2023 when he was hit by a fast vehicle.
Almost two years later, Rochell sued three people involved, including the alleged driver.
According to the suit, Rochell broke his elbow, his knee and head hurt and stood nerve damage alongside other bumps and bruises.
Moreover, Rochell pointed out how he made an important contribution to the 2022 Super Bowl victory of De La Rams and the crash derailed his NFL career.
After the accident, Rochell says that he was forced to miss the training of the team outside the season and part of the training camp.
