A huge grizzly bear is recorded on camera that sniffs through the snow near a tourist hotspot in Montana – which marks the first Observation of the Year while the predators come from hibernation.
The creepy images, recorded on Thursday evening near the city of West Yellowstone, show the top predator through a snowstorm and slowly moves when it approaches the camera on the ground.
The National Park Service confirmed on Wednesday that new Grizzly tracks were found in the northern part of the park -officially the start of the Grizzly -view season of 2025.
Professional nature photographer Trent Sizemore, who placed the Trail Cam, shared the clip on Facebook, where it quickly became viral and crashed hundreds of reactions.
“It seems that he has won well!” A user wrote.
'Yes! Let the games begin. May he eat good food and start the season in style. It doesn't look too thin! 'Another added.
Sizemore, who has been following the same bear for years, believes that it is a huge male Grizzly that has consistently been the first to wake up from hibernation in the region.
“I believe it is the same big man I have now received three years in a row. A friend who has cameras in the same area says he has been coming for five years, “he told Cowboy State Daily.

Grizzlies in the Greater Yellowstone -Ecosystem – About Wyoming, Montana and Idaho – usually start to rise in early March, with big men who first wake up.
Females with cubs are the last to leave them, sometimes wait until May.
Sizemore said that this specific bear is right on schedule, despite many commentators who said they thought March was early for the bears to get out of hibernation.
But Sizemore claimed that there are signs of other Grizzlies at other Yellowstone locations.
'This bear usually comes out around this week, or there is also one to see in the Lamar or Hayden Valley area. Tracks were seen in Lamar Valley, Black Sand Basin and Island Park last week, “he told The Outlet.
After months in hibernation, the top priority for waking Bears is food.
Sizemore said he suspects that this Grizzly is hunting.
“In the past, I believe that a house in the area was feeding maize to deer, which attracts the bear, I don't know if that is still the case, but there is a lot of deer, moose and fox on the camera this week,” he said.
