Duke Blue Devils Sensation Cooper Flagg sustained a horrible injury during their March Madness confrontation with the Baylor Bears on Sunday.
According to CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson, Flagg left his right eye on his right eye after accidentally punctured by Baylor's Norgad Omier.
The NBA-bound attacker then received medical attention for the next time-out when Duke's staff cleaned their star man.
He was then able to return to the court when the game resumed, even though he still seemed to be in any discomfort.
“They tried to get that bleeding to go down, but there was certainly no doubt that he was going back,” Wolfson said on CBS 'live broadcast of the game.
Flagg, the expected no. 1 pick in this year's NBA concept, gave Duke a huge injury shock on the way to March Madness after they had left their recent ACC quarterfinals against Georgia Tech asked with an ankle injury.
But luckily he was expected to be fit enough to be in their opening fixture against Mount St. Mary's on Friday, before taking 14 points in a thunderous 93-49 victory.
