The Pentagon will subject staff to lie detectort tests to leak out everyone who leaks to the media.
The Ministry of Defense said it is planning to use Polygraaftests in a memo published on Friday.
It comes after a report appeared in the New York Times, stating that the Ministry of Government Efficiency Lead Elon Musk would be informed about any plans in the case of a war with China.
President Trump refused the claims and stated that he would not show the plans to someone.
Musk then met Defense Minister Pete Hegseeth on Friday for an hour.
Despite rejecting the report, the Pentagon has decided to look inside for the possible leak.
“The use of polygraaf in the implementation of this investigation will be in accordance with the applicable legislation and policy,” wrote Dod -Staff Joe Kasper.
“This investigation will start immediately and culminate in a report to the Minister of Defense.”

It comes after reports in the New York Times, who said that President Trump would inform Elon Musk about possible plans in the case of war with China
The president denied the reports, although Hegseeth met Musk on Friday
Kasper added that everyone who contrary to the strict confidentiality requirements would be prosecuted.
It comes after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that employees would ask about leaks about the media during polygraaf tests.
“We have identified two information of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have told individuals about our activities and endanger the life of law enforcement,” said secretary of Homeland Security Kristi mention earlier this month in a video on X.
“We plan to prosecute these two people and to keep them responsible for what they have done.”
The Ministry of Justice also announced its own probe to leak after reports in the New York Times have arisen about the use of the alien enemies proclamation apparently to tackle the Venezuelan gang of the Aragua.
“We will not tolerate politically motivated efforts of the deep state to undermine President Trump's agenda by leaking false information to the pages of their allies of the New York Times,” said Deputy Procurer General Todd Blanche.
“The proclamation of the alien enemies is supported by facts, law and common sense, which we will establish in court and then expel the TDA terrorists from this country.”
Legal experts have expressed concern about the use of the 18th-century War Law to deport hundreds of immigrants, most Venezuelans, to a prison in El Salvador, has led to a confrontation with the judiciary.

Proponents of human rights say that the proclamation has been used to focus on ordinary Venezuelans who have no ties with the gang.
The proclamation issued by Trump argued that the law of wartime was applicable because the gang that originated from Venezuela commits 'an invasion' of the United States.
Most lawyers rejected that argument and noted that the government did not provide any evidence to prove that the men are gang members. The men were flown from the US before they could meet their lawyers.
