Republicans notice the strategic shift of Gavin Newsom, after his recent podcast performances with right-wing figures and amidst his controversial attitude towards trans-athletes.

On March 6, Newsom released the debut episode of this podcast from Gavin Newsom, with a conversation with Maga commentator Charlie Kirk.

The Californian governor, an old advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, led to controversy by suggesting that Democrats were wrong to allow transgender athletes to compete in women's college and youth sports.
