A toddler died after drowning in a farm dam in regional Victoria.
The toddler drowned near the city of Nagambie in the Whroo area, 120 km north of Melbourne, at about 10 am on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the ambulance Victoria said that the toddler was found responsive after the emergency services were called on the spot.
“Unfortunately, the child could not be revived and died on the spot,” he said.
A report will be drawn up for the coroner.
