A woman who went on an Indonesian boat trip remained surprised by the 'lack of security measures' before another Australian lost her life on board the same ship.
Anna Maree Blight, 39, died when the Sea Dragon 2 capsized while sailing between the port of Sanur, South Bali, and the Manta Point Snorkel and diving location near Penida Island.
Two other Australians suffered serious burns in the accident that took place on Friday at 8.30 am.
Their family left a cryptic message about the incident online in the days after the freak golf hit the boat.
Melbourne -woman Stephanie, 27, said she had made the same trip on the Sea Dragon 2 a day before the accident.
She claimed that the company did not offer life jackets to passengers on board despite the strong currents on the day.
She also released concern about the lack of safety demonstrations before Afreën.
“When we reached the snorkeling spots, they showed us where to go, but then pointed a few meters away and warned us it was extremely dangerous for us to swim there,” Stephanie de Herald Sun said.

Gabriel Hakniakoff, 29, and his partner Cintamani 'Tam' Warrington were treated for burns and requirements urgent medical attention.
Local police spokesperson, Agus Widiono, said that a freak golf was hammering the boat before a second big peak destroyed the ship.
