Authorities in Costa Rica investigate the tragic death of Miller Gardner, the son of Yankees legend Brett Gardner who died for only 14 years.
Miller died while the family was on vacation in Costa Rica, it has been revealed.
Gardner and his wife Jessica announced the terrible news at the weekend and explained that he had become sick 'together with various other family members'.
On Monday, the US Department of Foreign Affairs said to the New York Post: 'We are closely monitoring the research by the local authorities into the cause of death.
“Out of respect for the privacy of the family and loved ones during this difficult time, we currently have no further comment.”
