The French actor Gerard Depardieu arrived on Monday at a court in Paris for his trial accusation of the sexual abuse of two women during a film shoot from 2021 – which he denies.
The 76-year-old, who has appeared in more than 200 films and television series, has been accused by about 20 women of incorrect behavior, but this is the first case that is tried.
Depardieu, dressed in a dark lawsuit without a tie, strolled the Paris criminal court with one hand on the shoulder of his lawyer and do not seem surprised by the serious allegations against him.
The test is all about accusations of sexual violence while filming Les Volets Verts (The Green Shutters) in 2021, directed by Jean Becker.

Prominent French actress Anouk Grinberg, who also played in the film, has publicly supported the accusators and claims that Depardieu made routinely 'salacious comments' while filming. She has consciously accused producers of 'hiring an abuser'.

The actor pinched her by closing his legs around her before she grabbed her waist and her belly, she added to her breasts.
She said that Depardieu made “obscene comments”, including: “Come and touch my big parasol. I put it in your p ****. '
She described the bodyguards of the actor and dragged him away as he shouted, “We'll see each other again, my dearest.”
The second prosecutor, the assistant director, has also accused Depardieu of sexual violence, although details of her allegations have not yet been made public.
'What my customer wants is that the test takes place. But I am also worried about how Mr. Depardieu's defense will treat the civilian parties during the hearing, “said lawyer Claude Vincent.
Depardieu's lawyer, Jeremie Assous, has insisted that the trial will prove the accusations 'false'.
'This process will enable us to confront all accusations with reality, witnesses and the layout of the building. We will therefore be able to demonstrate in an impartial, objective and unmistakable way that all accusations are incorrect, “he said.
The case was initially established in October, but was postponed because of the poor health of Depardieu.
According to his lawyer, the actor has undergone a quadruple heart coincidence and suffers from diabetes, which is exacerbated by the stress of the case.

In 2018, French actress Charlotte Arn would be the first woman to submit a criminal complaint against Depardieu and accused him of rape and sexual violence.
In August 2023, French public prosecutors asked for a trial against those charges – claims that Depardieu was fiercely refused.
“Never, but never, I abused a woman,” the actor wrote in an open letter to conservative newspaper Le Figaro.
Depardieu, once the most celebrated actor in France, has become just as notorious for his controversial behavior outside the screen.
In 2011 he made the headlines for urinating in the aisle of an airplane.
He has been involved in drunk fights, arrested for driving in the field of drinks and has caused furiously with his close ties with Vladimir Putin.
A French TV documentary from 2023, 'The Fall of the Ogre', revealed images of Depardieu during a trip from 2018 to Noord -Korea and made explicit sexual comments for a female interpreter and seemed to sexualize a young girl that runs on a horse.
