Israel has killed Hamas' so -called new Premier Ismail Barhoum in an air raid.
Israeli strikes about the Gaza Strip killed at least 25 Palestinians, including various women and children, according to three hospitals on Monday. The strikes came almost a week after Israel ceased it -the Fires with Hamas ended with a surprise bombing that killed hundreds of.
In the meantime, civil servants say that Egypt has introduced a new proposal to try to get the ceasefires of Israel-Hamas back on the right track.
Hamas would release five living hostages, including an American-Israeli, in exchange for Israel who allowed humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip and a weekly break in the fighting, an Egyptian officer said Monday. Israel would also release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
A Hamas officer said that the group had 'responded positively' to the proposal, without working out. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to catch media about the closed conversations.
