The court heard how the defendants had carefully planned the shooting, had performed surveillance and placed a tracker device on the victim's car to follow his movements.

The defendants traveled from their neighborhood in the Woolwich area in Southeast London, through the Blackwall tunnel, to the new house of the victim in Malvern Drive in a car that was hired two days earlier by Stewart Ahearne.

While Stewart Ahearne waited in the car, Kelly and Louis Ahearne demolished in a garden with a view of the backyard of Mr Allen.

The men fled back to the waiting car, which drove away, causing their victim to fought for his life.

Jury members heard agreed facts about the 'earlier crime' of the defendants with regard to a burglary in the Museum of Far Eastern Art in Geneva on 1 June 2019, a month before all was shot.

Three porcelain from the Ming era were removed from the museum, which had a combined insurance value of 3,580,000 US dollars (£ 2,760,000).
