Former New York Yankees star Brett Gardner's son Miller died while the family was on vacation in Costa Rica, was unveiled.
Gardner and his wife Jessica announced the tragic death of their 14-year-old son at the weekend and explained that he had become sick 'together with various other family members' on the holidays before his death.
According to Inside Edition, the American embassy of Costa Rica confirmed that Miller died in a resort in the country. His cause of death has not yet been revealed.

In their statement on Sunday, Brett and Jessica said so many questions about 'about Miller's sudden death.
“With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the death of our youngest son, Miller,,” they said.

“He was 14 years old and left us far too quickly after he got sick, along with various other family members during the vacation.
“We currently have so many questions and so few answers, but we do know that he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.”
Gardner, 41, played 14 seasons with the Yankees between 2008 and 2021 and was part of their World Series-Winning Outfit 2009. It was said that he was very respected within the organization and narrow ties with people like Aaron Judge.
Last year Miller played football for his high school in South Carolina. He grabbed a pass before he entered a touchdown – while during his No. 11 he was wearing the song that was worn by his father during his baseball career.

“We are talking about being about family all the time and although Brett has been gone for a few years, that doesn't stop,” said Boone, the current manager of the team, reporters, via the New York Post.
