Parents were left furiously after eight hours in line for a BBC Gladiators event that they have branded an 'absolute flop'.
The event, held last weekend in the Bluewater shopping center in Kent, was built by the organizers to be 'an action -packed' and 'compelling experience' where fans could meet some of the biggest stars of the show.
It also had an inflatable dueling well for children to perform their own versions as gladiators, as well as other versions of the most popular events of the show.
But the 'thousands' people on their way to the experience, which was held on Saturday March 22 and Sunday March 23, were left furious after being forced to stand in line at eight o'clock.
By the time some families finally entered, they were told that the activities no longer ran, so that children were destroyed not to have met their heroes.
A visitor who attended the Saturday event claimed that the organizers told them that they had only expected 500 people to pop up, so that they were trying to climb masses of families.
Post on X, the user @ldjAFC said that they had completely underestimated the popularity of the gladiators.
In an answer agreement, @nigeljflanagan also added the event and said that '4000 people' had arrived at the day.

He said: 'I did not expect that tonight that busy, honest game would be for all parents and children who waited. Next time it must be a ticket event with time slots to save any disappointment. '
A popular Instagram account ran through a mother who regularly places videos that enjoys days out with her daughter in London and Kent -areas have labeled the worst free event we have ever been '.
Post under the account @allfunadventures with a video of the incredible queue, she said: 'We put the queue to see the gladiators at 10 am.
'The event was planned at 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., but the queue was closed around 11 a.m. with the expectation that the organizers of the queues are in line for 2-4 hours.
'We have received almost 8 hours! To go inside to hear that the activities were no longer running!
'An absolute flop of an event that could have been easily prevented by a ticket system and virtual queue, I wonder why this was not present when it was clear that this would have been a hugely popular event.
“Bad management by the one who organized this and I hope that the day tomorrow is better for others.”

As the weekend grew longer, more videos and images of the 'Flop' event on social media started to come up.
The queues can be seen that stretches the entire circumference of the shopping center in, which forces some parents to leave the plans.
On Facebook, @Thethirtyishmum called her attempted day out with her two boys as a 'fail' after 'so upset'.
Her message was: 'We are huge fans of Gladiators in this house and today we considerably underestimated the queue.
'I assumed that it would be a busy event, perhaps a waiting time of 1-2 hours, but it was clear to chat with those in the queue who were there at 7 o'clock and were still not at 12 o'clock that we had no chance at all.
“Jack and Alfie were so upset.”

The disastrous long queues and the overwhelming access have recalled memories of the Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow that went viral last February.
Irate parents closed the £ 35-a-ticket event in Glasgow as 'an absolute mess' after he was promised 'a universe where your dreams come out' and would 'make memories that last a lifetime'.
Only 24 hours before 'Willy's Chocolate Experience' in the Boxhub last February, the organizers House of Illuminati posted photos of a van full of props and said: 'It all comes together nicely'.
Nevertheless, families remained stunned when they arrived and were greeted with an almost empty warehouse with a few props with a wonka theme and a small bouncy castle, leaving distraught children in floods of tears.
The event was canceled halfway through the first day, because angry mothers, fathers and grandparents demanded refunds. Organizers have promised to give people back to people.
MailOnline has approached the BBC for comment.
