The artist who made Donald Trump furious with an 'unflatter' portrait of him in the Capitol of Colorado, has revealed her true feelings about it in displayed comments.
Sarah Boardman created the parable of the president in 2019, but the artwork was removed from the public display on Monday after he became ballistic about Truth Social.
Boardman previously described the expression of Trump in the painting as 'neutral thought' and 'non-confronting' when it was first revealed.
She told the Colorado Times recorder at the time that she did not try to 'convey' personal feelings about any subject 'that she figured out and strived for neutrality.
Boardman's comment came as an answer to a question about reader's objections to her representation of Trump.
“The committee for which I was hired, as with Obama, is to present a portrait for all viewers, regardless of their attitude on the issues related to the subject,” she said.
'There will always be different opinions, so pleasant a group will always cause another.
'I consider a neutral attentive and non-confronting, portrait enables everyone to draw their own conclusions in their own time, in addition to that approach that is more sustainable over time.

“Do not define personal views on a subject and are independent of a work of art in the presidents gallery.”
The Colorado Times Recorder published the interview again on Tuesday after Trump, 78, demanded the removal of the portrait in a long position on Truth Social.
The legislators of Colorado Bent under pressure from the president on Monday and removed the portrait from the State Gallery.
“Nobody likes a bad image or painting of themselves,” Trump wrote through his social media platform on Sunday.
“But the one in Colorado, in the state of Capitol, set up by the governor … was deliberately distorted into a level that even I may never have seen before.”
Boardman also painted former President Barrack Obama during his stay at the White House, and Trump complained that she succeeded in doing a much more successful work of his forerunner.
“He looks great, but the one on me is really the worst,” he wrote.
“She must have lost her talent as she got older. In any case, I would rather not have a photo than having it. '

When the portrait was first unveiled in August 2019, Boardman shared photos of her work on her professional Facebook page, with the 'great day'.
“The unveiling of the 45th president in the Gallery of Presidents, Rotunda, Denver State Capitol Building,” she wrote.
'Thank you to all dignitaries, employees, donors and visitors who participated and made this a wonderful event! Thank you, I appreciate all of you more than you know. Feel very grateful.

Boardman was commissioned to paint Obama's portrait for the Capitol of Colorado after she won the call for the artists' competition.
Her appointment followed the death of Lawrence Williams in 2003, which painted all 43 previous presidential portraits in the official government building.
In general, Boardman painted five presidential portraits, including George W Bush, together with a judge of the district court and various members of the US Army.
