Penn State wrestler Carter Starocci has lifted the lid on his conversation with Donald Trump after his historic NCAA title win.
The president, and a score of other members of his inner circle, lived on Saturday evening at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia.
Starocci only made a Beelijn for Trump a few moments after he had become the very first five -time national champion ever.
On Monday, the Penn State star revealed that Trump gave him a gift – and offered some inspiring words – when they met in the Arena.
“(He told me)” You are one of my favorite wrestlers to look at the world. I love your tenacity. I love your interviews, “” Starocci told Fox News.
“Then I told him that I also appreciated his persona. I also told him the story … (I said): “When I was warming up, they made it a bit hard for me because you are the big dog” and he laughed, and then he gave me a nice mint to recognize me. '

He was proclaimed the NCAA Wrestling Championship from 2025

The president and his inner circle attended the NCAA thrust championships in Philadelphia
It was not the first time that Starocci – which was named the 2025 ADA Wrestling Championship Outstanding Wrestler – had met the president.
“When I heard he would come, I thought I would go there and say a few words to my husband,” he went on. “Because I met him before, so having him in the house is always special.”
Also on Saturday evening the heavyweight Wyatt Hendrickson of Oklahoma State drew one of the greatest disturbances in the NCAA thrust history before he greeted the President.
Hendrickson's main field against heavy favorite and reigning Olympic gold medal winner Gable Steveson was decided in the last 20 seconds of the game.
The Oklahoma State Behemoth scored a 3-point Takedown and prevented Steveson from getting a reversal to win the NCAA title, with his coaches who took him mobile for seconds after the clock.
After a few more moments, Hendrickson, second lieutenant in the Air Force of the United States, was draped with an American flag and stood in the direction of the 47th president, who hit and waved back.
