The 14-year-old son of Yankees World Series champion Brett Gardner lost his life tragically while staying in the luxurious Arenas del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort in Costa Rica, by local officials.
The resort, located in the rainforest city of Manuel Antonio, has direct access to the beach, offers expert naturalistic guides and a 'stimulating, colorful and exciting' food menu, according to the website.
However, it has been reported that the teenage son of Gardner, Miller, died due to reinforcement after dinner. Inside Edition reported that death took place in the resort.
Miller would have died “after a possible intoxication after apparently set some food,” officials in Costa Rica told NBC News, and Gardner and his wife Jessica said when the death of their son had become sick during the journey.
The website of Arenas del Mar insists that 'only the best ends on your plate' and 'yes, you only eat the freshest ingredients' in the resort, including the Playitas beach restaurant and Mirador Oceanview Restaurant.
The resort also uses a 'dock to dish' program for the fish that it serves for guests.

The resort has a series of attractions that guests can enjoy, because it is located on an 11-hectare private rainyard reserve, is within walking distance To Manuel Antonio National Park and offers activities such as ZIP-Lining, surfing lessons and more.
In general, Arenas del Mar has two beaches, two swimming pools and a spa.

Gardner and his wife Jessica announced the terrible news at the weekend and explained that their son had become sick 'together with various other family members'.
The couple confirmed that Miller had died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.
“With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the death of our youngest son, Miller,,” they said.
“He was 14 years old and left us far too quickly after he got sick, along with various other family members during the vacation.”
They continued: “We currently have so many questions and so few answers, but we do know that he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.”
Gardner, 41, played 14 seasons with the Yankees between 2008 and 2021 and was part of their World Series-Winning Team 2009.
De Outfielder spent his entire career in chalk stripes and was highly respected within the organization.
