Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a house democrat from Texas, criticized after she nicknamed wheelchair -bound Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “had called Governor Hot Wheels.”
Crockett made the comment during a speech during a human rights campaign dinner in Los Angeles.
“You will know that we have Governor Hot Wheels down there, now come on, and the only thing that is hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, darling,” she told the audience as they cheered and laughs.
Abbott was tragically paralyzed after an oak fell on him while he jogged at the age of 26 in 1984, but he continued to have an in -depth political career.
“I am now going from the script, just like that, you know, this is where things come a bit of the rails,” said Crocket before she continued her speech.
