A very popular real estate agent died of cancer, leaving a 'paid forward' foundation who has collected thousands of dollars.

Melbourne-agent Fraser 'FRASE' CAHILL, 39, lost his brave fight for life surrounded by his family in Point Lonsdale on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula after an 'incredibly courageous' year-long battle last Friday.

His death led to an outpouring of tribute, led by his old employer, luxury real estate agency Marshall White, who greeted him as 'simple of the best'.

“Like all the things in his life, phrase took on this fight and did not let his skin dampen life, his smile, his love for adventure and time with friends,” an explanation that was placed online.

'From his early days, he soon became a team favorite for his friendship, his care for others and his ability to have a good time run.

'Within the real estate sector, Fraser was known for its professionalism, integrity and work ethics by everyone he encountered – whether it is about buying, selling or advising.

'His personality, passion for life and love for friends is a memory of the impact that an individual can make on the people around them.

Mr. Cahill's deeply sad family has pronounced their gratitude for the messages of love and received support from benefactors.

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and remains through every circumstance,” they wrote, quoting Corinthians 13-7.

Mr. Cahill was diagnosed with cancer in January 2024 and placed in December that he was remission after six months of chemotherapy.

“Post CT scans revealed, from what they can see, I am now cancer -free,” he posted on social media.

'An interesting journey that gave me a new perspective on the life of life and am very grateful that I have a new appreciation of how happy I am.

“Life is short!”

Mr. Cahill is survived by his parents Amanda and Doug, brothers Wes and Quinton, sister Nellie, sisters -sisters Ange and Odette, Kitty, India and Peggy, and Hugo and Archie nephews.

His death led to tribute from all layers of the lives of old experienced friends of his father to customers, colleagues and neighbors, who said their street will never be the same again.

Prior to his death, the community had supported Fraser by donating more than $ 161,050 to a fundraising on crowdfunding platform Mycause.com.au
