The New York Giants reportedly reached an agreement with Russell Wilson to sign the Super Bowl-winning Quarterback in a $ 21 million deal.
Wilson, 36, is said to sign a one -year -old deal that is guaranteed to include $ 10.5 million. According to ESPN, he is expected to become the starting quarterback of the Giants.
New York signed veteran Jameis Winston last week and was linked to a relocation for Aaron Rodgers, another quarterback from the free agent.
Now, however, the Giants have turned to Wilson, who was talking to the browns and his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wilson, now 36, started his NFL career at the Seahawks in 2012 and he led Seattle to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Quarterback joined the Denver Broncos in 2022 before moving to the Steelers for the 2024 season.
