A pilot and two children were saved in a wonderful way in the wilderness of Alaska after the plane crashed them on Sunday evening.
The three were found alive on Monday about 12 hours after their plane crashed on the Frozen Kenai Peninsula -Lake.
Alaska State Troopers said that the two children were primary school and secondary school age, but the authorities have not yet released the names of those on board.
Officials said the family was saved by good Samaritans who participated in the search for their Piper PA-12-12 Super Cruiser plane on the frozen tundra, which was on the foothills of the Kenai Mountains.
Dale Eicher, another member of the search and rescue team, told Ktuu that he had just started his own search about the frozen lake when he heard the good news about the radio.
“I immediately called the troopers because I was still in a mobile service and I knew it was a really good chance that the man who had found him was not in mobile service,” Eicher said.
“I was really shocked. I didn't expect us to find them. I did not expect that we would definitely find them alive … It turns out not always to be that good. '
