The White House announced that Ukraine and Russia corresponded to a ceasefire in the Black Sea to guarantee safe navigation as they get closer to a peace agreement.
The agreement also implements a ban on attacks by the two countries on each other's energy facilities.
It is the clearest step towards a broader ceasefire -the – -pro -the trump administration as a positive step to end the war.
Both countries said they would rely on the US to enforce the deals.
