A lawyer appointed by Biden who resigned on the first day at the office of President Donald Trump suffered from epilepsy before she died in her sleep, her family revealed.
Jessica Aber, 43, once the best public prosecutor in the eastern district of Virginia, was no longer responded to her house in Washington DC on Saturday.
The police said that she probably died of natural causes, and noted that she “had a long -term medical issue.”
However, Aber's case will remain open to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia Rules on the Way and Death judgment.
In the meantime, Aber's ABC News family has told that she has suffered of epilepsy and epileptic seizures for many years.
Such a condition can cause fatal suffocation or heart problems, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
Fatal epileptic seizures, known as sudden unexpected death in epilepsy, are rare, but are considered a high risk for people suffering from the condition.
Those episodes usually occur when the victims were sleeping, as Aber was.

In a statement, Aber's family said they would expect more information from the medical researcher in the coming weeks.
“Our family is deep in shock and mourning, and we request respectful privacy while we are trying to navigate our unspeakable loss,” they added.
Her former colleagues are also struggling with the enormous size of the loss.
“Jess was brilliant, but much more important was her sense of justice, her humanity and her ability to change the world in a positive way, even during her short time with us,” said American district judge M. Hannah Lauck, for whom Aber once served.
“My clerk family has lost his rock and I lost a friend. She was a golden soul and I was proud of having known her. '
“She was unparalleled as a leader, mentor and public prosecutor,” said Erik S. Siebert, her interim successor.
“She is just irreplaceable as a person. We remain awe for how much she has achieved in this world for too short time. She loved Edva and Edva loved her. '
Aber had risen by the ranks of the Ministry of Justice before she was finally appointed by former President Joe Biden to serve American lawyer for the eastern Virginia or EDVA district, in 2021 – will be one of the few women who once lead the department.

The district includes North Virginia, the Pentagon, Laney, the port of Norfolk and the corridors of the federal power in Richmond.
It is also a nerve center of legal activities involving terrorism, espionage, public corruption and business crime.
In fact, during her time in the post, Aber Led a team of around 300 lawyers and employees and continued some of the most sensitive and consistent matters in the country.
Aber worked in the investigation of the former CIA analyst Asif Rahman, who pleaded guilty for leaking Israel's plan to stop Iran last year.
She was also part of different probes in illegal activities by people with Russia.
But when Trump came back in the White House on January 20, Aber resigned. In her letter of resignation, Aber said that working as an American lawyer was “an honor without him.”
“I am senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine and President Biden deeply grateful for the possibility of leading this office and to attorney General Garland for his steadfast leadership,” Aber said in January.
“I am proud of the work we have done with our federal, provincial and local law enforcement partners to maintain the law and to build community confidence.”
