James Bond -fans were divided after two Hollywood -heavy weights were mentioned as producers of the upcoming film -with one that had produced the widespread -frequent completely female Ghostbusters -Flop.
Amy Pascal and David Heyman were announced on Tuesday, with Amazon MGM Studios – the new owners of the franchise – who praise them as “two of the most experienced, experienced and respected film producers in our industry.”
They replace departing experienced producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson after Amazon MGM Studios took over the Bond films last month.
The move has led to fears among Bond fans that the flagship spy franchise by Hollywood producers can be used as a cow-cow and diluted by spin-off TV shows and unnecessary arousing.
Pascal is best known as the producer of the Spider-Man-Franchise and has the completely female remake of Ghostbusters 2016 until its early career.
Heyman's portfolio includes hits such as Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Paddington 2 and Acht Harry Potter films, but he was also at the helm for the Barbie film of 2023 that was criticized because of his 'anti-man feminism'.
The two experienced producers were brought in as Hollywood-search for the next James Bond actor to replace Daniel Craig, by A-Listers such as Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson Deef candidates to become the next 007.
When announcing Pascal and Heyman as producers, Courtenay Valenti of Amazon MGM Studios said, that the studio is “honored to work with them on the next chapter of James Bond and is pleased to deliver to the global story that maintains the impeccable legacy of this beloved character.”

In addition to producing some of the greatest superhero films of the past decade, Pascal also made a name for himself in 2014 when she was entangled in a scandal with Angelina Jolie.
Pascal said in leaked e-mails that Jolie was a 'minimally talented spoiled snotaap', with her e-mails leaked online when she served as co-chairman of Sony at that time.
The Lek saw her fired after other e -mails of her were considered racist by Big Brass – including jokes aimed at the then President Barack Obama.
Although she was driven into the scandal, Pascal produced some of the largest films in Hollywood in the next decade, including Molly's game, challengers and Little Women.
James Bond fans were divided when Pascal and Heyman were announced on Tuesday, with many who feared that the films could be ruined by the new property.
An X user said as an answer: 'I am a traditionalist and would like to see Bond as we all know and love him. Do that, and everything will be fine. Please don't mess it out. '
Another referred to Disney's new snow -white remake that is entangled by bad reviews and criticism of his 'awake' retelling, saying: “I hope the new drop of the failure of Snow White speaks loudly and clearly to them.”

Others were not so pessimistic by hiring the producer Duo, where one fan felt that their recent Hollywood -hits are good for the future.
“Heavyweight producers!” An X user said. “Pascal produced recent Spider-Man films and Heyman once produced for a while in Hollywood … very cool.”
“Heyman did well with the Potter films,” added another. “So I am so happy that he is involved.”
With the producers behind the nameless James Bond film that has now been announced, attention will focus on which actor Craig will replace as the new 007.
The acquisition of Amazon MGM Studios has provided speculation that the iconic Ian Fleming -hero can be depicted by a woman, but leaked memos that are distributed to the staff by the media giant and who have been revealed by the mail on Sunday have shown that bosses will keep Bond and British.
“Amazon is dedicated to keep the spirit of the band alive and that means that he must be British or from the Commonwealth – and he must be male,” said an insider.
They added that owner Jeff Bezos “is a huge bond fan and although he is enthusiastic to see how Amazon can help the franchise ahead, there are certain things that are sacrosant.”
Among the actors who are driven to close the tuxedo, are Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden and Cavill.

For now it seems that the rising British talent Aaron Taylor-Johnson is being tipped as a favorite of the Bookmakers.
He led to a frenzy among 007 fans when the Sun reported in March 2022 that he would have been 'formally' the role 'if he would like to accept it'.
Since then, however, Taylor-Johnson, 34, has designed questions about joining the beloved spy series.
