A pedophile who has attacked a teenage girl is allowed to stay in Great -Britain after a court ruled that his deportation would violate his human rights.
The Pakistani man was behind bars after he was convicted for several sex crimes and then, after he was released from prison, he attacked the teenager.
The home office had issued a deportation warrant, but he appealed against the decision, referring to the European Convention on the Rights of people, according to the Sun.
During the appeal, the convicted perpetrator, who received anonymity for his protection, argued that he could be confronted “inhuman or humiliating treatment” if he was deported to Pakistan because of his alcoholism.
He claimed that, since alcohol consumption is illegal for Muslims in Pakistan, he would not have access to good treatment for his addiction, which could worsen his condition and possibly lead to further suffering.
The court chose the man's side and agreed that deporting him would violate his human rights on the basis of the European Convention, in particular his right not to experience inhumane or humiliating treatment.
And he also argued that he should be able to stay because he had a 'real relationship' with his child in the UK, even though they had not spoken since 2020.

That was rejected when the judge discovered that there was a 'lack of evidence' about his family life.
The home office won a profession last week and the case will be heard again later this year.
This comes after a wave of similar cases, including an in February of this year, when an unnamed judge sent a pedophile who sent 'barely any adolescent girls' in the United Kingdom to protect him against the disapproval of his family of his actions at home.
The man – anonymity granted for his protection – was caught on Message Pedophilic Hunters, disguised using Decoy Child Profiles, online in August 2022.
Grouping, the Pakistani father of two had believed that he really spoke with “hardly any adolescent girls.”
By admitting three counts to try to take on a child under the age of 16 a sexual act, the man was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
He had started taking care of young girls long before in March 2021.
But a public judge ruled that the removal of him from the United Kingdom would be 'unnecessarily hard', heard a tribunal.
The judge explained that the pedophile would have 'significant difficulties' in Pakistan because his family there has a 'vague image' of his crimes – and the man prevented from being deported.
It meant that the pedophile could stay in the country, even though it was a registered sex offender.
