Republican rep. Kat Cammack surprised her colleague -GOP -Wegengers -and President Donald Trump -by announcing that she was pregnant during the Women's History Month event on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old Republican in Florida revealed that she had a baby girl and should be in August when she gathered on stage with other female Gop legislers in the East Room.
A Gop legislator noticed that Cammack had 'a long way' to the Illinois Gop Rep. Mary Miller to catch up with seven children.
Trump congratulated Cammack while he introduced female Republican legislators during the afternoon event.

Cammack also addressed house speaker Mike Johnson, who was in the crowd.
'Mr. Speaker, don't worry. The margins are fine. I have to appear in August, “said Cammack.
House republicans currently only have a majority of five seats.

The baby announcement occurred on Trump's speech, in which he bragged about his own voice record with women, about performance he said he had been done on behalf of the American women and praised the women in his administration.
“And thanks for the mood, you were very nice for me,” Trump said when he arrived at an audience that was predominantly feminine. “We have set every record. We loved it. We loved that voice. '
Trump lost female voters with about 8 points of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 race, according to Exit -Polling.
Among white women, however, he won a majority – who received about 53 percent of the voice of that group.
In his comments, Trump argued that he defended American women with executive orders aimed at transgender Americans.
The president signed an executive order that transgender women playing in women's sports and another who stated that there are only two biological genera.
“On the first day I made the official policy of the United States government that there are only two sexes: male and female,” Trump said. “Is there anyone, seriously, is there anyone who does not agree with that in this room?”
