Nancy Wilson, the guitarist for the band Heart, has made the Trump government and admitted that she is now more ashamed of being an American than during the Vietnam war.
Wilson, 71, thought about the hit numbers of the band in a recent interview, stating Heart's song, Crazy On You, which was a criticism of America's involvement in the war in Vietnam.
“At that moment we were a bit ashamed of calling ourselves American because of the dirty politics of the war in Vietnam,” Wilson told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“To be as subtle as possible, it is now embarrassing,” she added.
Her comments caused a flurry of recoil on social media, with one message about X -reading: “I'm ashamed that Nancy Wilson is an American.”

Barracuda, who hit the air waves two years later, also hinted on political themes. Wilson said that the song was about 'a real thumb with a satin jacket' that 'wanted to earn more money from the sexy chicks in Hart.'
She told the Sentinel that the song is: “Even more relevant in the Salacious Billionaire Culture.”
In another apparent sweeping to Trump, Wilson struck billionaires who had a “Grijsphema-by-the (expletive) mentality,” referring to the previous remarks of the president on a hot microphone in 2005 while spoke to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush.
“These songs will be there long after we are gone,” she added.
In her interview, Wilson pronounced some optimism for America and admitted that she hopes that she will live for the next revolution.
“I think the pendulum will come back for women in culture, and there will be another Renaissance in the art to push back against the oppression of the grumpy old rich white boys,” she said.
Wilson revealed that she was inspired by the new generation of female rock stars, including Chappell Roan and the members of Boygenius.
The Wilson sisters have a history of political activism, speak out against the war in Vietnam and refuse conservatives to use their songs on the campaign track

She said that when she and her sister, Ann, a guitarist in the band, were known, they had no female role models to watch.
“These girls have us and Sheryl Crow and others who influence them and encourage them,” Wilson said.
