According to his family, a cute two -year -old boy died after he was put down for a nap at his 'negligent' daycare center.
Jaylin Branch Jr. – Lovingly known as Baby J – died on February 20, after having had a medical emergency while in Grandma Jones Daycare in Calumet City, Illinois, his family claimed in a lawsuit obtained by WLS.
His mother, Jasmine Bailey, said that the daycare center knew that the child had a medical condition that made him susceptible to epileptic seizures, but failed to take good care of him during the nap.
The police were called to childcare at Sibley Boulevard at about 1 p.m. after the staff did not respond an hour after he fell asleep, according to a police report viewed by the Chicago Sun Times.
During the nap, the branch was vomiting and his lips turned blue and the daycare staff who gave him breast compressions as soon as they found him.
The parents' lawyer, Cierra Norris, said that branch had suffered attacks earlier and the daycare had drawn up an action plan with his parents in case it happened again.
“Unfortunately, Baby J died on February 20 in his sleep for what we think is insufficient supervision during a nap,” she said.
'They worked with that daycare center to draw up an action plan to eliminate this from ever happening, because for whatever reason, that day, Baby J was left unattended that there was no one to see his attack.

'That is why the action plan meant that they are in principle, actually nothing because they could not catch what happened.
Bailey said the daycare had attacks for her son, but the seal in the bottle was not broken when he died.
“There is really nothing that will bring my son back, I just want justice,” said the deeply sad mother.
His father, Jaylin Branch Sr., said that they want childcare responsibility to ensure that this does not happen to another family.
The lawsuit was brought to the Cook County Circuit Court that demanded a jury court and a judgment against grandma Jones for at least $ 50,000.
The family has also called on the state of Illinois to open an investigation into the daycare center.
In January a daycare center in Illinois was caught on the camera that a four -year -old boy pushed into a garbage can, after he had left him in a terrible alley as 'punishment'.
Anna Petrou, 58, was arrested and accused of one count of endangering the well -being of a child after images of the cruel law on a daycare center outside Chicago on January 13.
