A glamorous young doctor ruined her career and sent it to prison after she had set up a released terror campaign against the new lover of her ex-boyfriend.
Amy Cohen, 36, was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison after trying to burn the house of the 99-year-old grandmother from her romantic rival.
Cohen, from Philadelphia, suffered a mental breakdown after her ex found a new partner and her family members started to stalk, and left creepy kites with images of her glamorous rival with crosses over her eyes.
The pilots threatened to end the family if they did not leave the state and accused the new love of her ex for 'promoting Islamophobia'.
The terror campaign culminated on November 30, 2023, when Cohen set fire to the older grandmother of her rival.
The owner of the house was able to safely escape while the fire was detected before it completely flooded the structure.
Cohen was arrested after her ex recognized her in security images of the arson, as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The police later found lighter liquid and copies of the stalking letters in the trunk of Cohen's car.

Last year she argued guilty of arson, reckless threat, terrorist threats and related crimes.
The charges of attempted murder and mistreatment were rejected after Cohen had completed six months of intramural treatment at a mental health care facility in Mississippi.
A psychologist who treated Cohen said she was suffering from ADHD, borderline personality disorder and fear since his youth and Adderall abused. He added that in 2023 she was working during the Covid Pandemie to work and was in an 'amphetamine-induced psychosis'.
Cohen was convicted on Wednesday. While her lawyers claimed that she had to skip prison in favor of her rehabilitation, the judge insisted that Cohen had to pay the consequences of her actions.

“The next step in your rehabilitation process is to understand that there are consequences for your actions and accepting them,” said Judge Wendy Rothstein, right of Montgomery County.
Cohen's victim spoke in court during the conviction and said that her now 101-year-old grandmother still asks about 'the girl who tried to burn [her] house down. '

Cohen, for her part, apologized to the victim and her family.
“I know I say that I am very sorry that it does not compensate for my actions, but I hope you can start healing,” Cohen admitted.
