An older waitress who can hardly walk, told how she is too poor to retire, despite the fact that she has worked all her life.
The 81-year-old named Betty, works as a server in an Eat'n park dinner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The heartbreaking story of the grandmother of three arose after Mama Tamie Konzier and her young son heard her talk to another table about her situation.
“The table next to us asked why she was still working and she told them that she only earns $ 910 a month on social security and she still has to work because her bills are exceeding more than $ 910,” explained Konzier in a Tiktok video that she hoped to use cash for the hard -working waitress.
The generous mother then tapped Betty $ 40 and explained that she was aware of her precarious position, which led her to open more.
“I mean, I have worked as a waitress all my life and I still can't retire,” Betty said.
Konzier was then stunned to learn her age and told her that she 'looks great'.

Since sharing the video, Konzier has also set up and promised a GoFundme to donate funds that she makes directly to Betty via the Tiktok Creator program.
The mother was flooded with offers to help after her original video had been viewed 4.4 million times.
“I really hoped it would be viral,” Konzier explained before he added that her young son was even more hopeful.
The cute young person then confirmed that he 'prayed in the car' that the video would blow up so that they could pass on a decent amount to Betty.
Konzier shared a third update on Thursday where she confirmed in tears that she was overwhelmed by the reaction.
“I can't believe this happened,” she said. 'Thank you everyone for your generosity. I don't even know her and I cry. '
So far, the GoFundMe page has collected an amazing $ 143,000 – with even more funds that come to Konzier through her views from Venmo and Tiktok.
