Witte Huis Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt closed CNN's Kaitlan Collins and defended the use of Trump -officials who use signal to communicate about a military strike.
Collins asked Leavitt about whether the president felt 'misled' by his national security advisers who said that no classified information had been shared in the signal chat.
“I have now been stated three times and answered by both of you, and I gave you my answer, the president feels the same as yesterday,” Leavitt replied.
Collins tried to ask a follow -up question, but was immediately closed in seven words by Leavitt: “Kaitlin, I don't take your follow -up.”
Collins repeated that she had a follow -up question, but Leavitt did not allow her to interrupt.
“Kaitlin, I don't take your follow -up,” she said again before she moved to RealClearpolitics reporter Philip Wegman.
Leavitt said that President Trump had assessed the SMS messages in the chat, published by the Atlantic Magazine after editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was wrongly added to the chat.

She rejected the Atlantic article as 'word games' and 'sensational spider' by an editor who described it as an 'anti-Trump sensational reporter'.
“Goldberg is an anti-Trump-hater,” she said.
“He is a registered democrat. The wife of Goldberg is also a registered democrat and a large Democrat donor who worked, among whom Hillary Clinton, “she added.
Leavitt was frustrated when reporters continued to concentrate on the signal chat fiasco and marked one of her most difficult days at work.

White House Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt arrives for a briefing

Reporters ask the White House -press secretary Karoline Leavitt about the signal contact
'I have now been asked the same question several times and answered with the help of different language. If someone has another question, there are many different things in the world, “she said, an example of an announcement from the president later that day at rates.
Leavitt said that President Trump continued to have 'great confidence' in his national security team, despite the constant controversy around their use of the signal app to communicate about a military strike against Houthi rebels in Jemen.
“We will not be given on national security and American troops by Democrats and the regular media that the other cheek turned when the Biden administration left 13 service members in Afghanistan because of their incompetence and no person in the previous administration was held responsible for that packaged withdrawal,” she said.
Leavitt finally made the briefing shortly after 22 minutes, referring to the need to complete it before Vice President JD Vance began to speak on a military base in Quantico, Virginia.
“I would like to combat the vice president of the United States,” she said.
