The king is forced to cancel a series of engagement after he was admitted to the hospital today during his continuous treatment of cancer.

The Monarch, 72, was back tonight in Clarence House 'Work Away Ashandel', with sources that describe it as a 'most small bump in a road that goes a lot in the right direction'.

However, to 'protect and prioritize [his] Continued very positive recovery 'He has canceled a series of assignments in Birmingham tomorrow.

Sources insisted that there was' no drama 'and tonight described the' short 'trip to the hospital as' connected to [his] Treatment program '.

But it is a worrying memory that more than a year after his announcement was diagnosed with an unknown form of cancer that the king is still being treated while taking a busy diary of public assignments.

A source added: “As many can be responsible, such things are not unexpected with these types of conditions.”

His Majesty has been able to undertake a full program of public and national tasks, and that position remains unchanged, sources of stress.

But today's side effects required a short hospital visit and a few 'adjustments' to his immediate diary program.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: 'After the planned and continuous medical treatment for cancer this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in the hospital.

'The afternoon assignments of his Majesty were therefore postponed.

'His Majesty has now returned to Clarence House and the Tomorrow diary program will also be moved as a precautionary measure.

“His Majesty would like to send his apologies to all those who can therefore be uncomfortable or disappointed.”

The king personally likes to make it as open as possible about his diagnosis, while maintaining a feeling of medical privacy and wanted to share the latest news in a 'spirit of openness and transparency'.

No further details about the side effects have been given, but they are supposed to have been temporary and such issues are not uncommon with many medical treatments.

The king is home tonight in Clarence House, where he is in 'good form', and continues to work on state documents and calls from his studies.

He was treated in the London Clinic who previously took care of him and he traveled in the usual way of and from the hospital. The queen did not come to the king during his short visit to the hospital.

A spokesperson said about the canceled commitments: 'His Majesty would receive references this afternoon from the ambassadors of three different countries.

'Tomorrow he would undertake four public engines in Birmingham and he will be very disappointed to miss them on this occasion.

“He hopes that they can be moved in due course and offers his deepest apologies to anyone who had worked so hard to make the planned visit possible.”

Buckingham Palace has indicated that it is unlikely that there are further updates, because it is 'not a major development', but will advise on small changes in next week's diary that may be needed in due course.

It is understood that the announcement was made so late in the day, because the king needed time to consult his staff and medical team whether tomorrow's engines should continue.

As a precautionary measure, to protect the continuous restoration of his Majesty, it was decided that it would be wiser to postpone the engagement of tomorrow.

Charles has continued his duties, even though he is confronted with a personally challenging 2024 in which he and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer.

The diagnosis of cancer of the king was announced in February and he received treatment for an unknown form of the disease as an outpatient clinic.

He canceled all face-to-face public tasks, but returned in April and has since traveled to France for D-Day Herdenkingen, organized incoming state visits for the emperor of Japan and the Emir van Qatar, and undertaken a hectic tour to Austaire Konkin with the Queen, despite the treatment of still treatment of the Queen.

Buckingham Palace has never revealed what cancer the king has – apart from saying that it was not connected to the prostate surgery that he underwent in January, which means that doctors discover the disease – nor details of his treatment.

However, the post has previously revealed that it was caught at a very early stage.

It is understanding that his treatment is underway and the recovery path remains 'in a very positive direction'.

No major changes in his program are expected, but a decision can be made to alleviate limited elements of the full planned program to protect and prioritize the continuous recovery of his majesty, on the advice of his medical team and in preparation for the state visit to Italy in just over a week.

Queen Camilla has talked about her personal frustration that her worshiped husband will not delay.

But sources say that the diary program of his Majesty in 'full consultation' has been developed with his medical team in all phases to protect and prioritize his continuous recovery.

They emphasize that the reaction of each patient to medical treatment can be unpredictable and it makes sense to make small adjustments to plans if necessary.

They also believe that undertaking public and national tasks has been of great advantage for the overall well -being of the king and Charles is 'deeply grateful' for all the support, encouragement and friendly words of the many thousands he has met with it.
