A 'professional thief' wiped a bag from senior conservative parliament member Sir David Davis during a £ 15,000 crime spree, a court was told.
Abderrahim Mamma, 28, would have stolen the bag of Sir David on King's Cross Station on November 4 last year on November 4.
Davis, 76, was the State Secretary of Brexit from 2016 to 2018 and is the MP for Goole and Pocklington in Yorkshire.
Mamma is accused of six further counts of theft with bags and telephones between February 2024 and January 2025.
The thefts would have taken place at Paddington's train station, St Pancras International and King's Cross.
The indictment of Sir David states that Mamma has stolen personal property, of an unknown value 'of the Tory Grandee.
Mamma appeared on Westminster Magistrates Court with gray prison clothing, helped by an Arabic interpreter.

Malachy Pakenham, persecution, said: “This suspect has stolen ownership of people worth around £ 15,000.”
He told the court Mamma Stal 'telephones, bags and personal property' of his victims and added: “I say clearly, he is a professional thief and that this court has insufficient powers to deal with this.”
Mamma, whose address was given as HMP Wandworth, was on 24 April prior to a plea for a plea for a plea and litigation hearing at the Inner London Crown Court.
He is accused of seven counts of theft.
