Oligarch's ex-wife Tatiana Soroka has dropped her case against the Royal Divorce lawyer, known as 'Steel Magnolia' because of alleged failures to pack his £ 200 million super yacht.

Mrs. Soroka hoped to £ 600 million from the company of Baroness Shakleton – more than she won for her in the original case – but now it is confronted with paying a 'huge' legal account.

The court of collision between the two controversial women has been rumbling for more than a year and arrives eight years after Mrs. Soroka's record was the latter in a series of triumphs for Baroness Shackleton, who earned her nickname for her Ruthless for its customers.

She represented King Charles and Sir Paul McCartney in their divorces, memorable with a jug with water poured over her by a furious Heather Mills when the former model only received £ 24 million of the £ 125 million she had sought from the former Beatle.

In 2016, the company of Baroness Shackleton MS Soroka represented when she grabbed the largest dividing scheme of Great Britain of £ 453 million.

But she claims that she was abandoned when the opportunities were reportedly missed to seize her tycoon former floating palace of the former husband Luna in Miami.

It came after the settlement money had not been released from her ex -man Farkhad Akhmedov – despite the oil and gas magnate that was ordered to pay by a judge – and Mrs. Soroka, 51, instructed PHB to find out billionaire Mr Akhmedov, 68, for the money.

When she discovered that the lush 377ft Jacht Luna was moored in Miami, she tried to seize it, but claimed that PHB failed her. She has sued PHB in the High Court.

De Luna, built for former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, is the world's second largest expedition yacht and has two helicopter plates, a swimming pool and mini-submarine, and was described as 'extremely valuable' in court.

PHB always denied neglecting and now, after several provisional hearings, Mrs Soroka has served a 'notification of stopping', which means she throws in the towel.

Payne Hicks Beach said the mail: 'We are satisfied but not surprised that Mrs. Soroka has withdrawn her claim and submitted a notification of discontinance. She will not receive payment from us and she must pay the substantial costs that we have incurred in this matter. '

The total legal bill – both parties have hired powerful legal teams – still has to be assessed, but it was described as 'huge' and is considered probably about a million pounds.

During a recent hearing, as the two parties argued about e -mails and messages that had to be 'announced' on the other hand, it was claimed that Baroness Shackleton 'never' had a laptop or desktop pc from her law firm.

Lawyers for Mrs. Soroka hoping to search the devices of Baroness Shackleton for messages described the situation as 'clearly strange'. De Peer, however, was told that she should open messages on her mobile phone as part of the legal dispute.

Now the case is over. PHB said: 'We said from the start that her claim was unfounded and should never have been pursued. Mrs Soroka's decision to withdraw her claim now is a complete justification of our position. Payne Hicks Beach is extremely proud of the work of Baroness Shackleton and her excellent team, and what they achieve for their customers. This is in particular the case with regard to Mrs. Soroka, who at the time assessed the highest ever the financial price of a divorce. '

In her doomed legal claim, Mrs. Soroka claimed that in January 2017 she spoke with Baroness Shackleton and another PHB lawyer on the phone and warned that her ex was in Miami – together with his lush super yacht.

Her claim from the court stated that Mrs. Soroka asked them to explore 'options in Miami' for seized the Luna, given that the price of approximately £ 200 million was set.

She claims that they did not act on her instructions in violation of their duties.

In his defense document that was submitted to the court, PHB denied neglecting. It claims that Mrs. Soroka Baroness Shackleton had told in a phone call that she was 'not interested in taking the ship', and preferred to pursue the money from her ex-husband and valuable works of art.

Mrs. Soroka was contacted for comment.
