A family of 12 with ties with Texas died in a terrible vehicle fire after a van had driven a cliff in Mexico.

Josue Martinez and his stepchildren Eduardo and Emiliano, six and seven, from Laredo, Texas, were tragically killed on Sunday after a transit bus with 16 people lost control and went into a 300-foot ravine, according to a GoFundme.

His wife, Erika Camacho-Martinez, 30, survived the accident and is currently being admitted to hospital with third-degree wounds for about 50 percent of her body, said family in the fundraising, which has collected more than $ 40,000.

The family hopes to transfer Erika to San Antonio for better treatment. ”

The passenger bus drove past Highway 14 in Mexico when it lost control and went to the Ravijn, starting with a forest fire that has been postponed since then, according to the police.

Authorities believe that the accident may have occurred due to a braking problem.

“The truth is that we are devastated,” family member, Paula Araceli Camacho, told KGNS. 'For the people who know us, we are a very united family. We have always been very close. They were our only cousins. '

The bodies of the victims had to be extracted from the ravine via helicopter, the police video showed.
