A respected dentist takes part in the growing call to remove fluoride from drinking water and says that it is nothing more than 'hazardous waste'.
Dr. Staci Whitman explained that the fluoride in tap water is actually a by -product of the phosphate fertilizer industry.
Fluoride has been added to public water in the US since the 1940s. The mineral found in the bottom, rocks and water makes teeth more resistant to acids.
It also prevents bacterial erosion and replaces minerals in tooth enamel that can be lost over time.
Despite his widespread and accepted use for 80 years, Dr. Whitman that the poisonous origin of fluoride and the potential to cause serious neurological problems must encourage governments to reconsider the water with it.
The dentist noted that this by -product of fertilizers, which offers fluoride for water fluoridation, is called hydrofluorosilic acid before it is diluted and added to drinking water.
It is so dangerous in its pure form that employees must actually wear protective suits when using water treatment plants.
Florida and Utah have already adopted legislation that prohibit the addition of fluoride to state stocks.

“Everyone can investigate this and look for themselves, but it will come in cement bags with skull and crossbones at the front and they have to wear Hazmat suits to put it in our water,” Dr. Whitman out in an interview with Dr. Andrew Huberman this. Dr. Huberman is professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology at Stanford Medicine.
Dr. Whitman is a pediatric dentist and a fellow from the American Academy or Pediatric Dentistry by the board.
During her Oregon practice, she uses a 'whole body, holistic and functional approach' of dental care.
Often that means looking at other factors that can damage the teeth of children alongside their parents who give them too much junk food to eat.

Now the dentist sounds the alarm about the inconsistent use of fluoride in American drinking water from state to state.
Dr. Whitman explained that the safe target range of the government for fluoride in water is 0.7 milligrams per liter (MG/L).
However, the dentist has discovered that many communities put much more fluoride in their water than recommended – some as high as 2.2 mg/l.
Studies have shown that higher than recommended levels of fluoride in the body of a child have a link with lower IQ scores
Dr. Whitman warned that many communities are not consistent with the levels of fluoride that they add to their tap water, leading to health problems
Based on earlier studies, Dr. said Whitman, this quantity falls in the reach of exposure to fluoride that can lead to neurocognitive problems.
In recent months, new studies have added even more about evidence to the fear that adding fluoride to tap water is doing more harm than good.
In January, an analysis of 74 studies was discovered that a higher exposure to fluoride was consistently linked to lower IQ scores in children.
The report in Jama Pediatrics showed that for each increase of 1 mg/l the amount of fluoride in the urine of a child a decrease of 1.63 points in IQ suffered.
The study also found cognitive issues in children at levels under 2 mg/l, which resulted in even more concern about the current American health guidelines for fluoride.
Critics of this report have already noted that the data does not include studies with regard to the US.
Dr. Whitman, however, pointed out in her interview that she has already found American communities around her Portland practice with fluoride content in their tap water well above the safe limits.
Another study of October 2024 also wondered whether the eight-decennium practice of adding fluoride to prevent tooth decay even worked more.
A team of the Cochrane collaboration discovered that the cavity-fighting power of fluoridated water has been considerably deposited since the 1970s.
The scientists explained that many of the studies used to promote the use of fluoride in drinking water were more than 50 years old.
That is before the widespread sale of fluoride toothpaste, which has since become generally accessible to most people.
The review showed that under fluoride investigations after 1975 children who used fluoridated water had on average only 0.24 fewer expired milk teeth compared to those in non-gluoridated areas.
In studies before 1975, researchers found a reduction of 2.1 decayed teeth per child for people who use fluoridated water versus children who use untreated water.
Simply put, recent studies show that too much fluoride can harm the brain of a child and there are now better ways to get it to our teeth instead of blindly adding to all the tap water.
So, does this mean that the federal government will soon be able to ban fluoride of tap water?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the new American Minister of Health and Human Services (HHS), has publicly worries Dr. Whitman reflected and says that the Trump government will evoke the removal of fluoride from public water systems.
“Fluoride is an industrial waste associated with arthritis, bone fractures, bone cancer, IQ loss, neurological disorders and thyroid disorders,” wrote RFK Jr. On X in November.
Despite the support of the federal government, Whitman noted that the forbidden on fluoride should probably be assumed in every state – saying that the White House and the Congress do not have much control over this issue.
Governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, has said that he expects federal health rulers to follow the leadership of his state to remove fluoride from all over the country.
