Republicans introduce a bill to achieve all government financing from NPR and PBS.
The move, reported for the first time by FOX News, appears a day after the CEOs of the stations appear on Capitol Hill to combat claims that both organizations have shown prejudice.
Both points of sale have denied the allegations, which led to an eventful hearing on Wednesday during a hearing of the house supervision and the government reform committee that is chaired by Marjorie Taylor Greene.
It saw the CEO of NPR, Katherine Maher, possessing not to give Hunter Biden -laptop story that appeared at the 11th hour of the 2020 elections, the coverage it earned.
At the time, the managing editor of the long-term radio outlet closed the story 'as a distraction'.
It was subsequently substantiated, so that at first sight of the broadcaster the egg said that he had 87 registered Democrats in her team last year – and not a single Republican.
The inequality, assigned maher, is 'concerning – if true'. She insisted that NPR does not follow such preferences.
