Two men are accused of murder after a teenager in South London had been shot.
Lathaniel Burrell, 16 years old, died on the spot as he sustained shot wounds in Paradise Road, SW4 on Tuesday 4 March.
A 17-year-old boy from Peckham and a 30-year-old man from Lambeth were arrested on Tuesday 26 March.
The younger suspect, who cannot be called for legal reasons, was accused of murder and possession of a firearm with the intention of jeopardizing life.
In the meantime, a 30-year-old man, Jeffery Frimpong, Van Smedley Street, Lambeth, was accused of murder.
Both will appear later today at the Croydon Magistrates court.
Detective -Head inspector Sarah Lee of the specialist crime command, which leads the investigation, said: “These charges mark an important milestone in the investigation.
'We continue to rely on witnesses and for those with knowledge of this incident to come forward. Reassured that we will continue to investigate this issue and ensure that all perpetrators are brought to court. '

The teenager was declared dead on the spot in Paradise Road, Stockwell, after the police had received reports from a shooting around 3.20 pm
Earlier another nameless 17-year-old boy and Omar Prempeh, 32, from Sunderland Road, Forest Hill, were accused of murder. They will then both appear in the Oude Bailey on Thursday 29 May.
