The White House has drawn the appointment of congress member Elise Stefanik to serve as an American ambassador in the United Nations.
President Trump mentioned the Republican Congressman of New York and Close Ally as his choice for the position just a few days after winning the 2024 elections.
But the White House informed the Senate that her name was drawn on Thursday.
Stefanik had already gone for the Senate Relations for the Senate Committee for Foreign Relations for the Senate Committee for the Senate on January 21 on January 21 for her confirmation.
It was expected that she would fly through the confirmation process with some dual support. But the mood was never planned.

“We must be united to complete our mission, and Elise Stefanik has been an essential part of our efforts from the start,” he continued.
“I asked Elise, as one of my greatest allies, to stay in the congress to help me deliver historical tax cuts, to make great jobs, register economic growth, a safe boundary, energy dominance, peace through strength and much more, so we can make America big again,” it continued.

He said that the congressman would again at the Gop leadership of the house, but it was not clear what her role would be.
Stefanik served as the Republican Conference chairman from 2021 to 2025, but she did not try to return to the function that was nominated to serve in the Trump government.
The president indicated that in the future writing she would potentially join the administration that he looked forward to that day.
Last month Stefanik started a farewell trip in her district to thank the voters she represented in the congress.
