A hero British tourist who tackled a furious knife after he stabbed five people in Amsterdam has received a Bravery Award.
Dramatic images showed that the individual grabbed the attacker and prevented him from further attacks in the busy street.
It came after a knife extraction near the historic Dam Central Square left five injured, including two Americans yesterday afternoon.
While Chaos unfolded, eyewitnesses spoke about seeing a 'knife of at least 10 centimeters that' sticks from a girl's back between her shoulders.
Earlier today, the police revealed that the suspect used several knives during the horrible attack.
They have so far refused to give some indication about a motive for the stabbing, and said that their research was underway.
The police suspect that he has randomly elected his victims.
