Stephen A. Smith seems close to landing a large NFL insider for 'First Take' with Peter Schager reportedly in conversations about becoming a member of ESPN.
Scheerher has been a fixture in recent years in the 'Good Morning Football' show of the NFL network and also contributes to Fox's reporting on the competition.
However, the athletics reported on Friday morning that he could quickly go to ESPN.
The report shows that Scheerker does not yet have to put a pen on paper about a contract with ESPN, but if he becomes a member, he will play a role in the daily programming of the network.
That means performances on 'NFL Live', 'Get Up' and 'First Take', which Smith – who recently signed a $ 100 million, five -year -old deal with ESPN – fronts every day.
ESPN is busy drawing up plans for the Super Bowl in 2027, which will broadcast it from Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.
