A retired person was branded as an 'old aged predator' when a 'tit for tat' feud about a Facebook group for holidaymakers became a 'social media hellhole', a court heard.
Lisa Wilkinson, 46, mercilessly trolled the 74-year-old Edward Hampton, label him a 'dirty bastard' and referred to him and his wife Bebe as 'The Tramptons'.
She accused him of sleeping behind his wife during the six months row, which took place on social media between February and July last year.
The couple had both been members of a Facebook group for Marmaris tourists founded by Mr Hampton called Marm 'R' US who had around 2500 members.
Wilkinson had been an administrator in the group, but then decided to become a member of another identically mentioned group set up by a Turkish friend, Magistrates heard.
She accused him of using the site as his 'personal domain' to get free food and drink.
With the help of the name 'Buster Wilko' Wilkinson referred to Mr Hampton and his wife as 'The Tramptons', and claimed that he 'slept with drunken members while Wifey is sleeping like an old outdated predator'.
She called him a “dirty bastard” and said that other group members who stopped before him were “just as mean and brainwashed by the tramptons.”

Wilkinson also sent him private messages of photos of both the passports of him and his wife and warned him, “Let it be abroad, worry about when you go, dirty old old predator.”
She also wrote: 'Your passport screenshots are already given to the relevant authorities. Enjoy your next vacation old aged predator.
'Keep sleeping behind your wife's back, your little racist error' Un You can't come back to Marmaris, who is now tearing Turkish companies away. '
She appeared on Tuesday at the Hof van Sefton Magistrates, where she did not owe intimidation.
Mr Hampton gave proof that the barrage of insulting posts had made him feel 'terrible'.
He said, “Disgusting posts were submitted, then 50 to 100 people would jump who say” that's terrible, he is a predator, I didn't know that. ”
“They didn't even know me. But something was posted every day.
“I gave the police 27 screenshots that called me a pedophile, call me a pervert, all the time in the same line.”

Mr. Hampton said that he had been married faithfully for 46 years and had never torn a business that he was aware of '.

He said that the messages with the passports of him and his wife had led the couple to cancel the couple and order new ones for an amount of £ 86 each.

Wilkinson, from Kirkby, Merseyside, admitted to making the posts.
But she said that she had done this 'in self-defense', as she believed that Mr Hampton had made comments about her anonymous online, including body-shaming her on a 'love rat' website.
She also claimed that he “had pulled his pants down and had put his a ** e in her face with his b **** hanging and thought it was a joke.”
In the court she said that Mr Hampton had used his Facebook group 'as a company' and had checked for group holidays and said: 'He would like to go to places where they chose where he gets his meals and drinks free.
“He wouldn't let me recommend things.”
She said: 'It's no revenge at all. He posted messages in his group about me.
“I can defend myself this. It is self -defense … holding myself against a narcissist, a manipulator, a gas lighter. '

But public prosecutor Craig Welsby said there was no evidence that Mr Hampton had been the source of anonymous comments about her.
He said: 'The behavior was inappropriate, oppressive and unreasonable behavior.
“The suspect has no problem with what she has posted. She says she made this in response to comments that made her.
“She has not given copies of these comments she is talking about.
“She accepts that they were anonymous messages, but she believes it is the complainant because of what was said.
'The suspect accepts that she sent the comments and accused the complainant of someone who is a predator who has sex with drunk women, and has put this on a forum that 2,500 people have access.
'I asked how self -defense is.
'The only thing I had is the opinion that it is Tit for Tat. It does not justify this behavior … Two mistakes do not make a right. '
Harvey Appleby, defensive, said Wilkinson was only one of the many people who made similar comments on Facebook.
But the Lord Welsby said: 'There is quite clear a dispute in the background and the suspect places comments and sends messages accusing the complainant of a predator to be at least twice.
'Does it matter whether the suspect is the leader or not? No, it doesn't.
'The point is that in this case the defendant accepts that she started a line of conduct that was unreasonable, that was oppressive.
“There was a targeted victim.”
Mr Appleby said: 'This is an unfortunate matter in which heaven in Turkey has become a hellhole on social media.
'Mrs. Wilkinson does not shy away from her comments, but what should be considered is the context.
'(Mr Hampton) ran the social media page as if it were a personal domain to check and when people names Umbrage and started a new group, this led to this.
“It was Tit for Tat.
“This is a case where all parties involved know for sure that, with the benefit of retrospect, would have behaved in a way that was different if the chance was given.”
The magistrate found Wilkinson guilty of intimidation and said: 'Mrs. Wilkinson accepts what she said in this case and she accepts this caused alarm and fear.
'We acknowledge that she believes that the posts are retribution, but there has been a series of behaviors, because there are several submissions aimed at a person who would probably cause suffering.
“We don't feel that the behavior was reasonable.”
Wilkinson was saved on May 9 and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court for a punishment.
