Those of a Celtic conviction have not had much to complain about in recent years. Of course they still do it, as is the case for supporters of both half of the old company, regardless of how it goes.
But for the most part it was a story of sunshine and smiling in the eastern end of Glasgow.
After all, they have plenty to celebrate. After they have seen their bid for 10-in-a-Row in pieces in 2021, the club has secured eight of the 10 domestic trophies that have been offered since that regrettable campaign.
In the coming weeks a different competition title will be added to the collection, while few would bet against Captain Callum McGregor who holds the Scottish Cup up in Hampden at the end of May. Another treble tapped.
Yes, their stranglehold over the Scottish football will not show any signs of release soon. Bad news for everyone. The stuff of nightmares for everyone who is associated with Rangers. Not that you would know.
It may be hard to believe, seen how much of this season took place, but there is undoubtedly a feel -good factor that is currently running through the Ibrox club. And it seems that they have stolen it directly under the nose of their city rivals.

Brendan Rodgers wants to finish the season in style while haunting a domestic treble

Rangers achieved an impressive 3-2 old business victory in Celtic Park earlier this month

Celtic was made to pay for a slow first half performance against their rivals previous time-out
That does not mean that everything is rosy in and around Rangers. Far from it. The end of the year without domestic silverware is unacceptable. But there is certainly reason for optimism.
Many eyebrows were raised when Barry Ferguson interim boss became after the resignation of Philippe Clement. Club legend or not, his appointment until the end of the season looked like a desperate attempt to keep an more and more fan base on the side.
A terrible defeat against Motherwell after a less than convincing victory in Kilmarnock in Ferguson's first week did little to suppress the doubts.
Europa League elimination due to Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce seemed nothing more than an inevitability, only for the team to show a level of character that had been absent the entire season.
The scenes that greeted the victory of the nerve-shooting penalty shooting were reminded of those who were experienced in the club's run in 2022 until the final.
Brendan Rodgers could – and really should have – bubble only a few days later while his party hosted their city rivals. But it was his team that fell flat.
The furore around the exuberant celebrations of Vaclav Cerny took part of the spotlight of the terrible display of Celtic. Yesterday, Rodgers spoke hard in the behavior of the Czech attacker and burned it disrespectfully.
But they are his own players who need a kick -up from the back. They were miles on Parkhead.

Barry Ferguson and Vaclav Cerny can look forward to at least two more large European nights
It was the same at Ibrox in the new year. A 3-0 bubbling flattered the visitors. The first half display against Hibs on Easter Road last month was from a similar counterparts.
Every team – even one as ruthless as Celtic – can of course have the strange day. The challenge with which they are now confronted is to ensure that they no longer have between now and the end of the season.
Although Rangers have the tempting prospect of an American takeover and a quarter -final of the Europa League against Athletic Bilbao, Celtic is simply the task of concentrating on taking care of bread and butter.
Although that may not sound so glamorous, it is no less important.
Harten are the first of three opponents with which the men of Rodgers are confronted before the competition split, where the Neil Critchley team makes the trip to Glasgow this afternoon.
Rodgers needs a convincing result and performance to inject some much -needed energy into his team and thereby find some of those positive vibes that have recently become missing.
Maybe a change in staff can succeed. Nicolas Kuhn looks a pale shadow of the player who certainly seemed to be clearing at a certain moment at the end of the season prizes. The half -time withdrawal of the German against Rangers suggested that his manager was not so impressed by his form.
Yang Hyun-Jun has certainly done enough to get a decent run in the team? He has the opportunity to tension and frustrate equally, but he certainly offers something a little different. And maybe that's what is needed.

Paulo Bernardo's return after a spell on the sidelines can refresh things
The return of Paulo Bernardo after a long injury dismissal must also be welcomed, not least by Arne Engels. The signing of the club record has shown a glimpse of his talent, especially on the European stage and at the age of only 21, only gets better.
However, he has to do much more. Fresh competition for a starting spot can prove to be a disguised blessing for the Belgian.
If everything is said and done, 2024-25 will perish as another overwhelming successful season for Rodgers and Celtic.
However, it is up to them to finish it in style and put the pressure back on their large rivals prior to what will be a huge summer.
