Fresh fears have been raised on 'patient safety', because figures show that the largest health sign in Scotland has received a whole series of complaints about transmeners who have used a loose and changing rooms with one genus.
Statistics released under the freedom of information laws show that 16 complaints have been submitted to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in the past five years.
Patients relied concern about the use of spaces of a single gender by both transvrouws and transmen.
According to the data, less than five were maintained of the 16 complaints between 2019 and 2024. Seven were not maintained and five were partially confirmed.
The Health Board was already central to controversy after the staff had issued guidance – withdrawn later – in which it was said that women who expressed concern about sleeping were related to those who cherished racial prejudice.

Helen Joyce, director of advocacy at Human Rights Charity Sex Matters said: 'Each of these 16 cases concerned someone who felt so vulnerable and risk because they had to share facilities with members of the opposite sex that they thought they had no choice than to submit a formal complaint.
'The responsibility should not be to members of the public, the least of anyone undergoing medical treatment, to ensure that the basic sprivacy and security measures are present.
