Customer service can make or break a food experience. It can ruin a perfect delicious meal or brighten up the most basic take -outs.
Now a new survey has unveiled the surprising chains that have the best customer service, and that are plagued by rude employees, slow service and ordering.
Although extremely popular among Americans, the chain that received the non -envious title of the worst for customer service was Dunkin. '
The chain, known for its drinks and sugar -like treats of celebrities, received the highest percentage of negative assessments – with 1 in 10 or 10.5 percent.
A recent assessment of a Dunkin location in New York City complained about the attitude of the staff and charged too much.
'Terrible customer service', the customer rumbled in a Google Review.
“I asked for extra milk in my hot chocolate and the cashier gave me an attitude and took me extra for two milk and the drink didn't even have the milk.”
The rankings, compiled by Coupon Pi, were made by analyzing 76,267 Google reviews of 12,750 restaurants throughout the country.

Taco Bell, which recently launched a new menu, came in as well as a second worst for customer service, with 10.4 percent of customer service reviews that was negative.

“I placed an order via the app and went through the Drive Thru,” wrote a recent customer about their experience at a Taco Bell in Los Angeles.
'In anticipation of my food, the cashier said that I had to move my car to the front of the store because of the timer.
'I moved my car, and when my food was ready, they gave me to get out of my car and go to the walking window.
“Dare to tell me to get out of my car when I went through the ride,” she added.
Taco Bell was followed by Wendy's, with 9.9 percent negative assessments, Starbucks with 8.4 percent and McDonald's at 7.3 percent.
However, some chains came out in a more positive light.

Dave's Hot Chicken and Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steak burgers took the Joint Crown as the best chains for customer service.
Dave's, who specializes in hot chicken in Nashville style, has more than 100 locations worldwide and has Drake, Usher and Samuel L. Jackson among his fans of celebrities.
Freddy's, who also specializes in hot dogs from Vienna and chicken sandwiches, has more than 550 restaurants in 36 states.
In general, 83 percent of the reviews were positive about customer service compared to only 3.5 percent of the assessments that reported a matte experience.
Freddy's, founded in 2002, wants to serve guests with real hospitality in a fun, inclusive environment, “according to her website.
Customers of both chains left online reviews to praise the 'warm and smiley' staff, as well as the tasty food and well-maintained locations.
Playa Bowls were third with 81 percent positive reviews followed by Pita Pit, 80 percent and Arby's 77.6 percent.
It comes after a beloved southern supermarket chain was called the best in America for the fourth time – partly because of its customer service.
