Donald Trump went on a tirade against Russian President Vladimir Putin during an early morning phone call on Sunday.
The president repeatedly said that at Putin he is 'pissed off' for interrogating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zensky's credibility and legitimacy after he had insisted this week that the country torn by war needs new leadership.
Speaking with NBC -Gastheer Kristen Welker, Trump warned that Russia could get a new round of hard economic sanctions for the flub in peace negotiations.
He said that this would include a rate of between 25 and 50 percent on oil from Russia, as well as a warning to other countries that when they buy oil from Russia, “you can't do business in the United States.”
Trump will reveal new rates on Wednesday, which he says is part of a so -called 'Liberation Day' with the aim of stopping the US with trusting other countries and bringing things back to the home country.
In the meantime, the US leads peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in the current Eastern European War – and although it seemed to go in the direction of a deal, that would possibly have fallen apart this week.
“If we are in the middle of a negotiation, you could say that I was very angry, angry, when Putin said yesterday that – you know, when Putin started in the credibility of Zenskyy, because that is not in the right location, do you understand?” Trump told the encounter the Pershost.
“What he wanted – and I mean, he thought, you know, started talking about new leadership,” he added. “But new leadership means that you will not have a deal for a long time, right?”

Donald Trump says that he is 'pissed off' at Vladimir Putin for questioning the legitimacy of Volodymyr Zensky and demanded new leadership for Ukraine
Putin, 72, demanded during a visit to the Russian city of Murmansk on Friday that Zensky, 47, decreases to accelerate a peace agreement between the two nations.
He said that Russia has the 'strategic initiative' in the front line of the war and claimed that the troops of his country had moved from the stage of 'grinding [Ukraine] Down 'and now promised to' finish 'in a new threat.
During the visit to the visit to launch a nuclear powered submarine, Putin said that the United Nations should take control of KIEV to install 'competent' leadership that would be willing to sign a peace agreement.
The Russian leader claimed that Zensky lacks the legitimacy to sign an agreement at this stage because of the Ukrainian leader who remained in power longer than for which he was chosen.
Ukrainian law does not allow elections while the country is under the state of siege.
Trump says that Putin is aware that he is 'angry', but said that their relationship remains 'good'.
The president told NBC News that he will talk to the Russian leader again this week.
