A Chinese government ship is currently from the South Australian coast and follows a similar route as an Australian deep-sea-submarine cable.
The ship is considered a 'espionage ship' and is located in the exclusive economic zone of Australia.
The Diepzee research ship has the opportunity to drop a mini-submarine that can reach up to 10,000 meters below sea level.
