A mysterious black ring that floated in the air above Seattle during the weekend led to drama in the city.
The ominous black circle, which was among the clouds, quickly caused widespread speculation and confusion when people took social media to share clips and images of the strange event.
Some suggested that the ring was a rare weather, a huge swarm of insects, or even an alien spotting.
In the meantime, others speculated that it appeared after fireworks in Lumen Field had left Washington for the Supercross Dirt Bike Racing Championship event.
“Absolutely aliens,” said an online user. “Remaining Tornado,” said another.
Although many were convinced that the weather could have been related, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service Fox13 told the ring that the ring was not the result of a weather incident.
Video that was placed on Reddit showed fans piled up in the stadium when a pyrotechnics machine went off, creating a large fireball that eventually changed a plume of smoke.
The smoke then came up and created what a dark ring seemed to be, similar to photos circulating online.

Lumen Field placed a similar clip on their Instagram page with the same smoke that comes up in the air.
“Let the smoke get up. It's Go Time, “The stadium has written its pole.
Although civil servants with Lumen Field could not positively confirm that the phenomenon was caused by pyrotechnics during the event, a spokesperson told the outlet that they suspected it was linked to the fireworks.
Commentators also seemed to confirm that the Dark Circle came from the Dirt Bike event.
“Pyrotechnics van Lumen Field,” someone said. “It is literally a smoke ring of the races.”
Another noticed: 'That was from Supercross. SMH they had a flame cannon that makes this. '
Despite many who think it was out of the field, others suggested that it was much more than that.

A similar black ring appeared in the air above Virginia in August 2024 and floated about 10 minutes before it disappeared.
The locals of Williamsburg flooded news stations when they saw the circle on a large highway.
Ron Stepp said he worked near the Eastern State Hospital when it appeared above as a huge smoke ring in the air.
Others reported the observation from nearby neighborhoods, which suggests that the miles were visible.

Similar black rings are spotted in other locations, where fires and explosions are cited as the likely cause. But civil servants did not report any fires at the time of observation.
Another similar ring -shaped cloud was spotted over Venezuela in June.
A month later another was imprisoned about an orange and pink sunset about Pearland, Texas.
There have also been countless other observations all over the world – it seems that these mysterious objects can pop up almost anywhere.
Until now, nobody has officially confirmed what these objects are or where they came from, but there are some theories.
