A sick South African father who admitted to kill his old baby daughter for a week after having raped her violently while her mother was out, threatened to kill her if he is not imprisoned.
Hugo Ferreira, 37, threatened the threat during his trial in the Supreme Court of Pretoria, who heard how he had subjected his baby daughter to common abuse and rape after she was only left with him on 8 June 2023.
Maureen Brand, the baby's mother, had only left the girl with him to sell clothes and buy diapers.
But on her return later that day, she found her baby seriously injured after she was physically and sexually attacked.
The innocent baby, who was only a week old, was taken to the hospital where she died the next day due to head injury.
Twisted Ferreira said he wanted to “give his daughter something to cry” and said in his plea that he was “unhappy” because the brand had left the baby with him and said she would be back within five minutes.
But when the brand did not return and the baby girl started crying because she was hungry and needed her diaper, Ferreira became angry and unleashed his horrible attack on the child.
“I grabbed the baby hard at the back of her neck and hit her buttocks repeatedly,” he said.

Ferreira will be convicted next week at Pretoria High Court in South Africa
'In the process I pushed her head against the surface on which I worked.
'I accept that it was a cruel and horrible attack, especially on such a young baby. The promotion was clearly illegal and I intended it. '
He then said he decided to attack her sexually because he had “decided to give her something to cry.”
He added: 'When her mother returned, I realized that she would see that something was wrong.
“I kept the baby away from her until later the day. I did this because I realized that the baby was seriously injured. '
Ferreira said in his plea exclamation that he knew that his actions were wrong and that the baby could die, adding that he continued to exist despite knowing this.
He also said that he was under the influence of methamphetamine, but added that the substance had not influenced him to the point at which he was not responsible for his actions.
The poor crime was committed in well -deserved, west of Johannesburg.
Ferreira will be convicted next week.
