A liberal meme who closed Anthony Albanian to holding a 'fashion show' – because he changed outfits during the campaign – was beaten as 'desperate' by critics.
Both leaders hit the campaign track after the Prime Minister officially called the federal elections on Friday morning for Saturday 3 May.
That afternoon, Mr. Albanese and dozens of journalists went on board a plane to fly to Brisbane, where they went directly to Peter Dutton's voters from Dickson the next morning in the northern suburbs of the city.
There, the Prime Minister brought a press conference together with the candidate of Labor for the seat, Ali France, in a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Murrumba Downs, who was briefly interrupted by a Heckler who complained about immigration and housing.
Opposition leader Mr Dutton had a pit stop at the nearby XXXX Brewery where he was also checked, this time by an environmental activist.
There the two men walked apart, with Mr. Albanese on his way to Bundaberg brewed drinks in the voters of Hinckler and Mr. Dutton went to Dickson for Afternoon Tea.
Mr Dutton ended his engagement with a meal in a Chinese restaurant in the Moreton chair, where he was checked for the second time, while Mr. Albanian Queensland left to travel to Bega in NSW to announce a $ 16 million subsidy for a local swimming pool.
A typical hectic first full day in what will be a debilitating campaign of five weeks.

But the meme-makers of the liberal party grabbed the fact that Mr. Albanese removed his draw and a pack of jacket for his engagement in the Bundaberg factory before slid in a Tracksuit from Cricket Australia for the announcement in Bega.
'1 day. 3 outfits. 10 years of deficits, “a post that compiles the clothing change of Mr. Albanian, compared to Mr Dutton who wore the same suit and tie all day, was captions.
It added: “Australia needs a leader, not a fashion show.”
The Sartorial Quip, which was shared in all social media accounts of the Liberal Party, led to a recoil.
Ed Cavanough, CEO of the Progressive Think Tank The McKell Institute, described it as a 'bad campaign start of the opposition'.
'Flat message. Dull opening video -Pitch. Focus on the color of the PMS shirts on day one, “he wrote on X.
“After two years freely disciplined strategy, she simply does not seem to have a definitive act.”
Brian Briggs, a military compensation lawyer, accused the liberal party of 'Willing Wardop'.

“Who makes the f *** what the prime minister is wearing?” He asked.
“The least Albo was in Qld during the Cycloon. Where … was spud? That is good to drink champagne and to suck it on to rich donors. '
The last comment was a reference to Mr Dutton who flying back to Sydney to attend fundraising in Harborside Mansion of Hospitality billionaire Justin Hemmes, just like X-Tropical Cyclone Alfred was to the coast of Queensland.
Later it turned out that Mr Albanese had attended fundraising on the same day.
Another critic of the meme burned the 'bottom of the barrel stuff'.
'I don't like Albanian either, but come on, now this is not how you win me. A focus on policy is, “they added.
'Our export of natural gas, immigration and constitutionally recognized and protected free speech. There are a few to start with.
Other people were confused by the reference to '10 years of shortages'.
It was probably a reference to last week's budget, which challenged a shortage after two surpluses – and no return to surplus for at least a decade.
But many took over the comment when it meant that shortages were returned when the coalition was last in power.
“Were not in liberals for 7 of those 10 years?” They asked.
Another wrote: '10 years of shortages? You mean, the years that you provide a lot?
'The years in which Turnbull, Abbott and Morrison could not get a budget surplus, but Labor delivered 2 of the 3 in surplus after your economic mismanagement? Those years ?? '
Much more pointed out that pulling out your tie and jacket was hardly a new outfit.
Daily Mail Australia approached Mr Albanese's office for comment.
